Financial Advisor & District Agent Shaun Hamada left a successful, 13-year career in retail management and joined the Honolulu General Office of New York Life in 2009. Intent on fast-tracking his success, Shaun quickly began building his life financial firm among young families, business owners, and government employees by sponsoring keiki (the Hawaiian word for child) ID events with the local police department.
He qualified for 2010 Executive Council* at New York Life in 6 months, earned three New York Life National Achievements, the Career Life Success, Career Life Producer, and Life Foundation awards in 2010, and was named Honolulu General Office's 2010 Rookie of the Year. Shaun has qualified for Council every year since joining New York Life as an agent and Financial Professional, including President’s Council from 2014 to 2020 and Chairman’s Council from 2021 to 2024. He is 12 years Qualifying MDRT**, Top of the Table member. He is a proud Member Agent of The Nautilus Group® and a shareholder of NYLARC Holdings Company, Inc. which is a service of New York Life.
